Furty Furlong 2020

Hosted by Kingstone Runners, this is a tough, hilly 3.75 miles (30 furlongs) off-road course in the private grounds of Mapplewell Meadows Farm. Mostly grass with some gravel/shale. Some (optional) small horse jumps to add a bit of fun.

Sorry, this race has been CANCELLED due the the ongoing COVID 19 issues.

Frightful Furty Furlong 2019

Saturday 26th October 2019.

It was certainly a challenging race due to several days of incessant rain! However, everyone had fun (I hope) and enjoyed the apres-ski at the Wentworth Arms.

Thanks to the volunteers who braved the foul weather to marshal the course, especially the lady who stood by her post long after the end of the race!
