Kingstone Runners

The club was established in 1996 as One-2-One Running Club based at the One-2-One Gym in Summer Lane, Barnsley and became affiliated to the North of England Athletics Association (NoEAA) in January 1997.

The club moved to the LivingWell Health Club at Dodworth in January 2006 and changed its name to LivingWell Barnsley Running Club. Membership increased as Health Club members started to join us for runs. LivingWell then became Bannatynes.

In October 2007 we moved to our present home, Kingstone Sports Centre on Broadway in Barnsley. The new logo is based on the lights of the Sports Centre as viewed from Broadway.

Kingstone Runners is a fairly new name in Barnsley but the club has been around for over ten years now (read about our History below).

We are a small friendly club with a good mix of both male and female members of all ages and abilities.
